Saxophonics supports Dorothy House Hospice Care

Membership

Membership of Saxophonics is open to saxophonists of any age. There is a minimum standard of grade 5 or equivalent so that the group maintains a high standard. The minimum standard is just a guideline and no exams need to have been taken. There is currently a membership fee of £22 per term, payable on the first rehearsal date of each term (rising to £23 per term from January 2012). Anyone joining half-way through a term will be charged a reduced rate.

Rehearsals

We rehearse in St Paul's Church Hall, Chippenham from 4.30 - 6.00pm during term time on (approximately) alternate Sundays. See the schedules below for exact dates.

Non-members may sit in on a rehearsal prior to joining. Please contact us first so we know to expect you and to ensure we have music for you.

Dress Code

For performances, we have the following dress code

Black Smart Trousers/Skirt
Black Socks/Tights (or skin coloured tights/no tights)
Black Shoes in any style as long as they are clean and smart
Black top/Shirt in any style as long as it is plain and smart and it must be the same colour black as your trousers/skirt
